Review
This is official description
Replay Music is a unique streaming music recorder which can capture MP3 files from any web site or PC-based software. Every song is saved on your PC as a high quality MP3 file, automatically tagged with the artist, song title, album and genre, and perfectly separated into individual tracks. You can even burn songs directly to CDs, or copy them to your iPod or MP3 Player.
The following review written by one of the Software Informer contributors applies to version 3.7
ReplayMusic is a recording utility that allows us to capture audio from any source; this includes music streaming services like Last.Fm, Spotify, or MySpace, just to mention a few. The program records audio in MP3 or WAV formats, with excellent audio quality. With ReplayMusic we can record audio in real time from a microphone, the line-in port, audio streaming websites, and any audio source of our computer. Using it is quite straightforward and intuitive; basically, we need to set a folder where we want to store the recorded tracks and start recording. Clicking on the ‘record now’ button, will open a new recording session, where we can optionally complete fields with information that the program will use to tag the resulting tracks, for example, the artist name, title of the album, genre, etc. From the settings window we can define parameters such as the audio quality or the recording volume, and we can even have the program to stop recording after a specified time. Once it stops recording, we can edit the track information of one or multiple items, and we can also use the application to burn the recorded files to MP3 or audio CDs, using its integrated burning utility.
From its website, we can download a fully functional version of the program that will allow us to record up to 25 tracks. |
